Toy Fair in Nuremberg

For the third year running, Hörby Bruk will be showcasing its products at the International Toy Fair “Spielwarenmesse” in Nuremberg, Germany from 28 January to 2 February, 2015.

The fair is a popular destination for purchasing managers from across the world, however, emphasis is on trade buyers from the European markets. “The first year we participated, we had a small, but well-attended booth”, says Olof Löfgren, Export and Marketing Manager at Hörby Bruk. We quickly learned that there is a keen interest in our play equipment for private gardens. The secret is the Swedish, solid quality that always meet the European EN 71 safety standard for toys. Additionally, our in-house manufactured play equipment is TÜV certified, which is highly appreciated not the least by German buyers who almost consider this a requirement. “We are proud to explain that most of our equipment is manufactured at our own works in Hörby. This clearly impresses foreign buyers. They like to buy products made in Sweden at an affordable price. This year, we also have reason to celebrate since our CanCan swing turns 50 years.
